"What happened to Space Shuttle Columbia, and how we found out, and Space Shuttle Challenger." presentation summary.

Ron's presentations are customized to each audience.  Lessons learned from space shuttle accidents relate to "all" organizations and even to us individually.  Communication, which we all use, is one of the major causes that led to these accidents.   Some of the best lessons in life come when we take the time to look at what went wrong.  Ron worked at Kennedy Space Center for 30 years and shares these lessons with passion and personal experience.  Ron loves receiving questions ensuring audience participation and understanding.

Space Shuttle Columbia's accident on February 1, 2003 took an entire nation's effort to find the cause of the accident and then design and implement repairs.  1.5 million man-hours were spent in this national effort to recover the pieces of Columbia from Texas and Louisiana.  150,000 man-hours were then spent analyzing the pieces in order to solve the cause of the accident.  Ron takes you on a journey that this nation took to correct the problem thus allowing the Space Shuttles to fly safely again.

The cause of Space Shuttle Challenger's accident on January 28, 1986 is described too.  Unfortunately many of the causes that led up to Challenger's accident were the same causes that led to Columbia's accident.  Not paying attention to history often leads to history repeating itself.

Ron's presentation topic is about space shuttle accidents with the underlying passionate message of believing in yourself and following your heart's dreams.  Ron's more serious presentation while still being entertaining is recommended for all organizations and individuals who want to learn and to grow.  We live in an exciting time of discovery, and we should take the opportunity to stop and review the lessons on our journey through life!
